We are so humbled to announce that Revcontent was named #215 on the Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing companies. With the 2017 Inc. 5000 being the most competitive crop in the lists history, with the average company on the list with an impressive three-year growth of 481%, we came out at the top of the Inc. 5000 with over 2,000% growth. This massive achievement would not be possible without the support of our partners, the community, and our dedicated team.
Created to award America’s fastest growing and most innovative companies, it is a huge honor for us to be among the top of what Inc. calls “the superheroes of the U.S. economy.” Revcontent is among an elite group of companies that “wield powers like strategy, service, and innovation.”
Revcontent was founded with a vision of innovation and a personalized web, serving media publishers such as Forbes, Newsweek, and Reuters as well as brands like Bauer Xcel Media (Life&Style and InTouch Weekly) and CBS Interactive. With two major acquisitions of technology companies within the last two years, we have quickly scaled beyond our Sarasota headquarters. While industry hiring rates are falling, we increased our hiring by 200% since 2016, opening two new global offices this year in Canada and India.
“Being able to serve our partners through consistent innovation is extremely important to our vision. We’ve been able to scale and grow so quickly as a team because of our commitment to fast failure, leading with technology, and staying agile to the demands of the industry,” said Chris Maynard, Chief Product Officer at Revcontent.
We have grown so quickly without losing sight of our values. While the Inc. criteria is based solely on financial growth, we were also recently awarded Best Places to Work in Florida 2017 and Ad Age’s Best Places to Work in Advertising due to our values-based culture.
John Lemp, CEO and Founder at Revcontent, said, “Being a part of the Inc. 5000 is a humbling recognition for the Revcontent team. Focusing on values like selflessness, courage, and empowerment allows us to get one step closer to our vision of empowering media to deep build relationships with their audience. Our growth means our partners are growing, too, and we would not be able to achieve this massive growth without their support.”
“The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”
Revcontent is well on its way to reaching the goals and vision set at it’s founding. We are so excited for the future of personalized content recommendations, and to continue serving our partners and powering personal relationships.
